Looking for the Best Way to Manage your Reviews for Irish Businesses in 2024? Discover our recommendations below!

Your business either already collects reviews or you don’t. Which are you?

‘I Already Collect Reviews’

For those of you proactive business owners out there that DO collect reviews… clap on the back! 🙂

We know the drill – you pride yourself on your customer service, and you have customers that are happy to share their experience with a valuable online review. As a proactive business owner, you know how precious these reviews are.

Online reviews create trust between you and your future customers as it gives social proof of the quality of your service / products.

However, we know that sometimes your customers use different channels to share their experience i.e. some might recommend you on Facebook, others with a gmail address might review you on Google, others might use on Yelp…

As a result, that valuable review gets zero exposure on your website.

It also dilutes your total visible reviews i.e. you might have 30 reviews in total (across various platforms), but this consists of 10 on 3 different platforms.

Let’s say, like us in the past, you have a Facebook Feed plugin or a Google Review Widget on your website, then out of a potential total 30 reviews, only 10 get displayed.

Remember: any reviews on platforms that you don’t automatically feed through to your website – get zero exposure.

What if there was a way to capture all your reviews across all channels and display them all, quickly and easily? We have the answer for you below.

TrustIndex: #1 for Combining your Reviews

What is it?

Professional review management software.

Why we love it, use it ourselves and recommend it for our clients?

So many reasons! Our reviews were on different platforms, and we wanted to make the most of them. When we displayed from just one platform, valuable reviews were missing, so we needed to find a way to solve this.

With TrustIndex, you can download your reviews from the 52 different platforms, including: Google, Facebook, Yelp, Amazon, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Airbnb, Hotels.com etc.

With other tools that we tried, you are restricted by their default design of how it displays on the front end. Whereas with TrustIndex, you can choose from 35 different widget layouts and 16 pre-designed widget styles.

A Few Things to Note

As we pride ourselves on our honest reviews, there were a few minor issues with our experience (which turned out to very quickly resolved) so we thought you might find it helpful to read in case it happens to you.

After our trial period ended, we were more than happy to purchase the paid-for version as we wanted the additional features it offered…

We followed the payment process and entered our payment details. It showed in the back-end that the subscription had been purchased, but then we noticed 2 things:

  • It didn’t display the paid-for version on our website, and
  • The back-end was still giving us the option to subscribe, even though it had been purchased.
  • We received confirmation of our payment from ‘Simple’ which is the Bank that they use to process their online payments, but the entire email was written in Hungarian (TrustIndex is a Hungarian company). This writer’s Hungarian isn’t what it used to be 😉 and we found the email impossible to understand. However, in fairness, it was clear to us that it was simply payment confirmation.

When I wrote to their customer service about the 3 issues, Tom in TrustIndex replied within an hour to assist and allay any concerns I had. It’s this type of customer service that I love.

To me, without fail, customer service and how problems are solved is where I think the magic happens. That’s our ethos in Whizz –  we go above and beyond for our clients and they know we are always there for them when they need us. That’s why we appreciate it when we experience that with suppliers with similar brand values to us.

Also, Tom confirmed that when you convert from the trial version to the paid version, there can be a short time-lapse for it to fully propagate over.

Sure enough, within the hour, our paid-for version with the extra features was now displaying correctly in various places on our website, and we were extremely happy with the end-result.

You can set TrustIndex up to refresh on a daily or weekly basis, so new reviews will automatically get added to your site. However, our most recent review didn’t automatically get added. When we checked the settings, it turned out we had it set to refresh on a monthly basis. My bad! No wonder it didn’t capture the recent review.

Since those small issues which were resolved promptly by their fantastic customer service, everything has been great and we find it so valuable to have on our website and linked to from our various marketing materials.

As you will see from the Comparison below, it is much more affordable than it’s competitor TrustPilot, has more options and meets our needs better than its alternatives.

We are happy to recommend it to you as we have had nothing but a great experience with them and use it ourselves.
